HOLT ALIGNS WITH LUNATICS ON SB.206
Senators Jim HOlt of Springdale and Denny Altes of Fort Smith need to take a closer look at the people they publicly promote and the bills they've decided to work on. particularly the immigration bill in the Senate. One of the main lobbyists for this bill is a guy named Joe McCutchen. Read about Joe and Joe's thinking on racial harmony here, at the Southern Poverty Law Center which tracks hate groups including the Nazis and the Klan. Want more? Here's a quick out-take from a letter to the editor of the Fort Smith Times Record allegedly from Mr. McCutchen...

"American and international Jews own the world monetary system. Would it not be appropriate if they used their own financial resources to subsidize Israel? For example, Bill Gertz, aka Bill Gates. The Iraqi war was unconstitutional and immoral; the best that can be said of Bush, Ashcroft and their Neo-con Zionists is that their blather is full of factual elasticity. To survive, America must surmount P.C., revisionism and incendiaries enemies hurl, i.e. racists, anti-Semitic, xenophobe, et. al. Americans, emerge from your cocoons."More to come on this story...

ODD, BUT WORTH A LOOK...
This one comes to us courtesy of "The Raw Story" -- seems a mayoral candidate in St. Louis has threatened suicide on his blog. Just the responses are an interesting read. Bill, we don't care what some of your posters said, put down the gun! You can read Bill's Blog and make up your own mind -- tawdry political stunt, or possible option for state lawmakers who don't like the US Constitution? Just a thought...

COULD THEY BE ANY MORE BRAVE THAN THIS?
Truly a show of courage here...an Oklahoma TV station has news about a new kind of public "pride" parade...this article says college Republicans in the Sooner State will hold what they describe as a "straight pride week" on the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma. Golly, ya think they'll have anyone aruond to throw rocks at them or counter-protest? Probably nothing like the Stonewall riots for the "other side" in this one...what's next, "White Pride Week?" -- probably not too far off.

WHEREFORE THE AMERICAN IRAQ POLICY?
Interesting piece here about an apparent break in the monolithic Republican Congressional organization on our Iraq policy, proving the administration has yet to become all-powerful. Sen. Pat Roberts, (R) Kansas, believes what will happen is that the Shia will dominate the voting today, and form an alliance with Iran...so what happens then, and should we take the decision by Halliburton to withdraw completely from Iran as a sign that Seymour Hersh's prediction of a war in Iran by summer has started to come true? You can read about Roberts here.

THIS YEAR'S PEOPLE'S CHOICE? MR. MOORE!
Top motion picture at this year's People's Choice Awards? Fahrenheit 9-11. A fantastic film no matter what the naysayers have tried to do to it...could an Oscar be far behind? Check out the article for more about the other film viewers chose (think red v. blue, half and half, close election, Mad Max)
